Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a model that views the mind as made up of multiple “parts”, each with their own emotions, beliefs, and roles. These parts often develop in response to life experiences and can carry protective or wounded energy.
IFS invites us to meet all of our inner parts with non-judgmental curiosity, even the ones we may dislike or avoid. As we build trust with these parts, we can access a deeper, wiser sense of self.
IFS is a compassionate, trauma-informed approach that trusts that your inner Self holds immense wisdom and capacity to heal. Small shifts in one part of us can ripple through our internal system, allowing for more integration, compassion, and choice.
I have completed IFS Level 1 Training, and am in an IFS training for working with OCD.
