Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a model that views the mind as made up of multiple “parts”, each with its own emotions, beliefs, and roles. These parts often develop in response to life experiences and can carry protective or wounded energy.
IFS invites us to meet all of our inner parts with non-judgmental curiosity, even the ones we may dislike or avoid. As we build trust with these parts, we can access a deeper, wiser sense of self and begin to heal from the inside out.
Parts work helps us see ourselves as whole, even in our complexity. Small shifts in one part of us can ripple through our internal system, allowing for more integration, compassion, and choice.
I am completing IFS Level 1 Training this summer 2025. While I am not fully trained in IFS yet, I have already witnessed powerful insights through this work.
